खूबसूरत उदासी

कितनी खूबसूरत, ये उदासी है..
कोई अधूरी सी आरज़ू में, 
इन गेहरी नीली आँखो ने,
मानो, सारी ज़िन्दगी गुज़ारी है..

या फिर, कुदरत ने ही, पहले से 
तेरी सूरत, यूँ संवारी है..
ज्यूँ भी देखूं, इस बात को, 
ये बात, बहुत ही न्यारी है..

तेरी सूरत, बहुत ही प्यारी है..

'Eyes speak volumes'. 

Her eyes seem to have a tinge of sadness in them. As if life has been tough and lonely for her. As if there has been an unfulfilled desire since years. The sketch shows the beauty as well as sadness in her eyes. Which inspired me to write above lines.
